about this mission:

Expressed in the ministry’s purpose statement, “Power Ministries will innovate and implement programs that meet the spiritual needs of teens & adults with disabilities, and their families. Providing educational experiences, we will train Christian Workers to meet those needs in the future.”

“Handi-Camp,” the longest standing program, provides more than a dozen sessions each year, throughout a multi-state area. College Internships provide an opportunity for college students to serve with the ministry for an entire summer. “HIS Time” (HIS being an acronym for “He Is Savior) meets the 2nd Friday of every month, in the Foundry at Northside Christian Church; once again, for teens & adults with disabilities. All of the programs offer opportunities for teen & adult volunteers to serve in those programs. Contact Power Ministries for additional information: 812/945-4117

what to bring:

Work gloves, rakes, shovels, flower bed tools. Pressure washer, ladder, chain saw.

Rain will cancel most outdoor projects.  There are some alternative clean up projects indoors if necessary.
